I have been working as a Therapist for a Community Based Mental Health clinic since 2014, specializing in School Based Mental Health treatment. I primary work within the Elementary setting with children from Pre-K through 5th grade. Outside of School Based Mental Health, I also provide treatment in an office setting after school, focusing on play based therapy, specifically Child Centered Play Therapy.
The children I work with present with a multitude of Mental Health diagnoses ranging from ADHD and Behavioral Problems to Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma. Because of the diverse nature of my Clientele, my style is most accurately described as eclectic. My focus ranges from Social Skills training to Expressive Therapy (play, art, etc) and everything in between. Despite what my approach is for any given child, the one thing I always remain constant on is working within each child's specific strengths and talents to provide as much unconditional support and encouragement as possible.

I graduated from Salisbury University on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 2012 with my Bachelor's in Psychology. I then went on to complete my MSW (Master of Social Work), also from SU in 2014. Since 2015, I have been focusing my continuing education training in Play Therapy, specifically Non-Directive or Child-Centered Play Therapy.
I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the little town of Berlin, voted America's Coolest Small Town in 2014! My husband and I were married in 2013 and live in our renovated early 1900's home with our two rescue pups, Zoey and Sticky.
