TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an Ontario trained teacher who worked in British Columbia for 4 years. Then my family and I moved down to the Unites States where I am currently a stay at home mom raising my two daughters.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Since many of my resources are made with my children in mind I try and make the activities engaging and fun. I don't want them to feel like they are doing homework!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I got my B.A. in History and English from Laurentian University as well as my B.Ed. the following year through their concurrent education program.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am currently a Canadian expat living with my family in Michigan. Over tea one day with a fellow Canadian expat mom we were discussing how our children are taught lots of American content in school and through exposure but little about Canada a country we love. I thought that I could help solve this problem by making fun and engaging activities. All of the resources I have develop are a result of conversations over Canadian tea.
