I have homeschooled my daughter for 9 years, with my husband. Previously I taught piano and English as a second language. We also teach breathing and other techniques known as 'alternative medicine', including both physical and mental exercises.
Our daughter thrives by applying herself intensely for shorter periods of time, so the materials we've put together are very focused and do not contain highly repetitive tasks. Most of the learning is based on reading. It is expected that a teacher or parent will help the student to understand and work through the lessons. We enjoy learning, and hope this is reflected in our books!
Hmmm . . . none yet!
Advanced classical piano, German at Goethe Institut Murnau, three years in Mcgill's Religious Studies program, Tai Chi classes, Teach Yourself Hindi, how to cook, how to knit, etc. . . . insatiable curiosity in many areas!
My husband is shakotisnien:nens rata’én:neras, 'one who helps the healing'. To learn more, visit https://pierreiieweraspage.wordpress.com
