TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been blessed to have taught thousands of elementary students since January 2005. I have worked with all grade levels K-5 and have been experience both in and out of the classroom. I am currently a Technology Teacher and it has been one of the most rewarding positions I've ever had. I get to work with all students in a GAFE school. If you are not currently integrating technology into your classroom, let me help!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I integrate technology in all my lessons. When I started out, I purchased items off of Teacher Pay Teachers until I became comfortable running my computer lab and meeting the needs of ALL my students. Now I pretty much run my own tech curriculum. I love breaking ideas down to help my students feel successful. My students always push me to do more, think more, and dream more! My work is never done :)

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University in 2004...go Pirates! A few years later, I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Masters in Administration. I am also endorsed to teach our Gifted and Talented population! By September 2018, I will have completed the Coding Bootcamp through the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
