TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a recently retired physical education specialist with over 30 years experience teaching both Health and PE at all levels from Pre-K to College. I have been designing health, PE, and movement-based resources for over 10 years now. I am Nationally Board Certified and have served as a NBPTS Supervising Trainer and Assessor and as a Scorer for the EdTPA. In 2009, I was selected as Georgia State Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year. I have also served as a college collaborative teacher and have worked, in the past, an adjunct college Fitness for Living instructor. I have coached multiple sports at all age levels for lacrosse, soccer, basketball, football and track.

I strive each day to to provide teachers the information, tools and resources to help them establish and maintain physical education programs of excellence.My activities and visuals are designed to be developmentally appropriate with purposeful and creative instruction that focuses on developing and improving students’ personal fitness, motor skills and social interaction.
