From inner-city middle and high school science teacher to nationwide curriculum and professional development, Ashley has the experience and expertise needed to bridge the divide between school and work.

In addition to a budding professional career, Ashley's educational background is also deeply rooted in excellence in STEM education. She hold a BS degree from the University of Connecticut, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2010, earning a spot among the merely 25% of US female college graduates earning degrees in science. In 2012 she earned her MS degree in Secondary Education (Science Concentration) from Eastern Connecticut State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Through coursework at both universities, Ashley obtained the skills necessary to be a well-rounded 21st Century educator, such as the incorporation of technology into the classroom, science content knowledge, differentiation, inquiry-based learning, and standards-based lesson planning.
