I am currently a regular education Kindergarten teacher of 21 precious 5 and 6 year olds. I have previously taught resource and inclusion Special Education ranging from K - 5th grade for the past 5 years.
I am a hands off learning kind of teacher. I give my students the tools to learn and give them the reigns. As kindergarten teachers we often have the mindset that they can't do it on their own, this is simply not true! I have very independent 5 and 6 year olds and I am constantly amazed at what they can do after I have given them the guidance they need. We have fun, laugh, and enjoy working together in our classroom. Learning is present in EVERYTHING that we do. I wouldn't have it any other way, I love teaching because of my kiddos that love being at school. It's all worth it because they love it too!
