TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Together we have over 60 years of teaching experience in grades 1-6, special education, and in the gifted/talented area.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Due to the wide range of experiences we have had with students of varying abilities, we are dedicated to making learning fun, challenging, and a fit for all students. We believe in differentiating lessons and encouraging children to move forward in their learning. We believe in instilling a life-long love of learning.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

We have been members of district curriculum departments in both math and social studies. We have presented at state conferences and designed staff development training classes. We have had experience mentoring and supervising student teachers.

We both have Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education.
