I teach 3rd grade in southern California. I have over 25 years of experience in grades K-3rd.

MY TEACHING STYLE

When I was in my Teacher Credential program, I was immersed in the Whole Language Education philosophy. However, I've had to adjust with the introduction of the rigorous state and national standards. I still believe, whole-heartedly, in thematic instruction, where the skills are imbedded into the curriculum in a meaningful, joyous way.
