I have thirty-five years experience as a high-school English teacher and thirty-two years service as a yearbook adviser. I also taught third grade for one year and taught university-level composition for two years as a graduate assistant. Most recently, I taught English Composition I and Introduction to Literature at Edison State Community College, Piqua, OH.
My style is kind of old-school, authority driven, with both facilitator and demonstrator models incorporated. I try to keep up with the times and the demands of new generations of learners. I utilize project-driven assignments, collaborative activities, and technological tools as much as possible. I also have experience with online classes.
