TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Taught kindergarten for 3 years and 4th grade for 2 years at private schools. I was a substitute teacher for 7 years for all of the elementary grades in public schools. I was a High school counselor for grade 10. I did summer programs for enrichment for the Gifted and Talented College for Kids Programs for 3 years. I did art therapy for the Southeast Asian refugees for 4 years as well. I have chaired cultural diversity activities and taught peace education and wellness to elementary and high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I prefer an experiential style of learning where children can apply what they've learned to every day relationships, interests, goals and living.
