Carolee Dean, Founder of Word Travel Press LLC has twenty years experience working with early childhood, preschool, elementary, middle school and high school students as a speech-language pathologist. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and is a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) member of the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) serving students with dyslexia and other reading related disorders. She is a past president of the Southwest Branch of the International Dyslexia Association.
