TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have a wide experience over a period of 40 years, working with children of all ability levels. My particular interest has always been in the area of learning difficulties and special education. I have written and published a set of workbooks for Special Ed, suitable for children whose learning level is at about 6 years of age, but whose interests may be those of an older child. At all times I have endeavoured to keep the material relevant and age appropriate. I have also written a popular set of 5 manuals for Special Ed teenagers, to help develop various living skills and to help prepare them for a successful entry into post school work situations.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style has always been to really just imagine that each child is pretty much as important as each of my own children, and to do my best to assist each student to do their best, and to take pride in their achievements.
