When I became a teacher, I knew that I wanted to kick off my teaching career overseas. I've taught in Toronto, Ontario, Taipei, Taiwan, Seoul & Bundang, South Korea and London, England. Through my experience so far, I have learned a lot from students, teachers and parents from around the globe! It's always interesting to take what I learned from one country and merge the ideas with another country's. I am very passionate about teaching and I enjoy everything about it.
The key is to stay positive at all times!

I am originally from Toronto, Ontario where I got my qualifications to become a teacher! Currently, I am the Academic Director of 2 Maple Bear Canadian Schools in South Korea. I most certainly miss being in a classroom on a full time basis but this position has it's benefits as well. It is very rewarding to be able to be of great support to my teaching staff, having have been in their shoes before. Regardless of my career change, I am always a teacher at heart. I can see myself being a classroom teacher again in the future.
