TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Over 20 years of experience as a secondary teacher in public school systems in Indiana and Ohio pushed me to be more creative and risk-taking with my lesson plans. A former administrator of mine (Mr. V!) really supported and encouraged my teaching outside of the box in order to challenge my students and myself. I owe much of my style to his generous and understanding support, as he understood that you've got to break a few eggs to make an omelette! I also consult on and offer Leadership Seminars and Team building in the area.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Part adventurer, part actor, part storyteller, part motivator, part director, part law enforcement, part counselor, part insomniac... all powered by Amp Energy Supplement and God!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was named a Jennings Scholar in 2001! God honored me with three amazing teenagers of my own! Additionally, countless small and shining victories both in and outside of the classroom - too numerous and possibly not universally intriguing enough to list here!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor of Arts 1988 Manchester College Master of Education 1998 Indiana Wesleyan University Numerous Post-Graduate Experiences, Joys, Heartbreaks, and Thrills!
