MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach with a whole child approach where I give equal importance to my students emotional, social, physical, and intellectual well being. I love incorporating movement (especially dance!), the arts, and real world linking activities that give students a more well rounded and personal approach to learning.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I initially started school to become a math specialist but eventually discovered my love of the arts and how they can positively influence educational experiences. Consequently I graduated with my Interdisciplinary Arts for Children degree with a dance concentration and I have my certification in both general education 1-6 and special education 1-6 with a masters in childhood literacy education.
