TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been learning and exploring third grade since 2008! I have fallen in love with third grade, and loved every year! Each year is a totally new and different experience! This year I will be moving to middle school math!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am beginning to branch out from whole class lessons, and am excited to be working on Daily 5, math centers, interactive notebooks, and am looking forward to some anchor activities this next year. I love a classroom where my students are excited to learn, engaged in the activities, and know what is going on.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My biggest award is seeing students come back to say hello! I don't have anything hanging on my walls, nor have I ever been nominated for teacher of the year. My reward is knowing that my kids are learning, being challenged, and keep coming back to say hi! :)

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education. I graduated in 2011 with a masters in Educational Technology.

I have two kids, three if you count my husband, at home, and work on TPT during nap time and after they are in bed!! I love this TPT community and the amazing bonds that I have been able to form! I am excited that you have stopped by! Please don't hesitate to ask any questions!
