TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently a 7th grade Science teacher. I have been teaching for 10 years at the middle school level. I have a lot of experience coaching and working with children of all ages in science, sports, nature, and arts and crafts. I have worked as a camp counselor for nature camps since I was young. I also have a lot of experience teaching place-based education units.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to incorporate as much hands on science and project-based assignments into my curriculum as possible. I love art and also try to include as many different artistic components into activities and assignments as possible. I also spend quite a bit of time outside doing place-based education activities with my students too. I would say my teaching style is fun, laid back, hands on, and project-based.
