I began as a substitute teacher in the Fall of 2009, and started teaching 5th and 6th grade students with learning differences full time in the Fall of 2010.
In my work as a teacher, a tutor, a substitute, or a coach, my favorite aspect of my role has always been individualizing instruction. I love learning what makes my students tick and designing lessons around their interests and needs. I am passionate about helping students discover and develop their individual learning styles, while walking with them through their academic struggles. My hope with my students is to work myself out of a job.
