TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been an IB Diploma and MYP teacher in Science, Information Technology in a Global Society and Theory of Knowledge. I have been teaching in international schools since 1998 and in that time have various management roles including DP, CAS and IT coordinator and Technology and Science department head. I have also been involved in a number of school accreditation and re-accreditation processes for IB DP, MYP, and CIS.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy getting my students involved in hands on learning which is why I love being a science and IT teacher allowing students to learn through experimentation and developing IT projects. I am a firm believer that learning can only happen through experience and having students wrestle with real-life problems. I love using technology in the classroom but only when the lesson is designed to collaborate and create educational material useful to their learning online.
