I am currently a 1st grade teacher and I love it! I love making learning as fun as possible with songs, games, and stories. During the summers, I work for Teach for America's Summer Institute as a Resource Specialist. I love helping new teachers work on their lesson plans and find resources best fit for their students.
I love to integrate all subjects so students understand that their learning is not isolated to one subject. The more real-world connection, the better! I incorporate songs, movement, and dancing into my lessons to make learning fun!
