Mr. Dye has been a student of human behavior for over three decades. He has delivered over 3,000 speeches to churches during his thirty years of pastoral ministry and has been the guest speaker to colleges, and biblical conferences. He has also served fifteen years as a public school educator and is Texas State certified as a Classroom Teacher (1st-6th grade), Music Teacher (1st-8th Grade) and School Counselor (K-12th grade). His classroom assignments have also included being a Special Education teacher in a Emotional Disorder unit and serving students with physical disabilities. As a School Counselor, Mr. Dye works with GT students, mentors at risk individuals and leads the schools' RtI committee.
In the classroom, Mr Dye prefers a balance of Demonstrator or Personal Model and being a facilitator.
Mr. Dye has lead sessions in The Usual Suspects, Five Rules of Bullying and TALK-WALK-TELL in National Innovative School Counseling Conference and the Texas State School Counseling Conference. CBS News featured the anti-bullying program he developed called Character Academy four years ago. Recently CBS featured his work and conflict resolution strategy, TALK-WALK-TELL on the evening news. The Mansfield Magazine Online also highlighted his anti-bullying strategies.
David holds a Master of Education in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, a Masters of Ministry degree from Bethany Theological Seminary. He received his teacher’s certification hours from Region XI and his Bachelor of Science from Arlington Baptist College. He is certified as a Gifted and Talented instructor.
In 2014, he created the free App, The Usual Suspect ID Cards, for iPad and Android phones and Tablet, which is available at the ITunes Store and on, the Play Store. The App provides information and support for his session presentations. He is the author of the innovative biography, The World’s Strongest Human, and Beneath the Reading Tree. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Creating Your Future, Inc. (non-profit 501c), and the director of the Social Skills/Leadership Club, Character Academy.
