TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 6th and 7th grade mathematics. I have also been a contract tutor at a middle school for students who have struggled with math.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is very hands on. I love to play games, get students out of their chair, and give them a fun way to make connections.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

2010 Student Teacher of the Year Nominee, March 2014 Educator of the Month

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Sam Houston State University and have a degree in 4-8th grade Mathematics. Go Bearkats!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I teach middle school math and coach volleyball. I love teaching, but other than that, my passion is orphan ministry. I travel to Russia a few times a year to work in orphanages with the sweet children there. I have fallen in love with them. I am hoping that I can use some of my earnings on Teachers Pay Teachers to fund my trips! :)
