TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I graduated in May 2015 after student teaching in fourth grade. Then, in the fall, I began covering for a third grade maternity leave, which I have now finished. I also find it very rewarding to work with adult ESL students and hope I can provide resources that will connect curriculum materials across grade levels.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that students learn best in cooperative learning structures with hands-on materials. I call my store "Charting the Common Core" because I feel that modeling and charts are the best way to help students organize their thoughts, and therefore remember what they have learned.
