TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently, Caroline is working at an international school In Germany. In years past she has taught everything from Grade 1 through Grade 5 as well as a combination grade 1-2 class. Caroline loves hands-on learning which involves deep thinking. She believes that students learn best when the questions surrounding their learning excite them and when their curiosity is sparked. Caroline has taught all subject areas and delights in bringing learning to life for her students. She particularly enjoys creating a strong home school connection with the families at her school through numerous home study projects.

MY TEACHING STYLE

An experienced and passionate educator with the knowledge, skills, and understanding of a range of learning styles, education is personalized to help each individual meet their full potential. Enthusiastic about international education, hands-on learning is met with real world experiences as students are transported beyond the classroom to learn about the vast world around them. Holding the belief that character development should be taught along with high-level academics, students are celebrated for their unique gifts and the classroom works in synergy as students learn to collaborate, cooperate and appreciate their contributions to the classroom. An avid International traveler, Caroline knows from first-hand experience that understanding the planet can make a world of difference in a child and that each child can make a difference in the world.
