I have been an educator for over 20+ years, both in California and Kentucky. Though I have taught 1st through 4th, I am currently teaching 3rd grade. I have been fortunate to be in a position as ELA Cadre Leader for my school district, which has provided me with the opportunity to dig deeper into the core standards, as well as develop curriculum units of instruction for my grade level.
My goal as a teacher is to always present concepts in different ways to make learning more accessible to all of my kiddos. I enjoy creating resources and experiences that spark students' learning.
Yet to be added
I have been blessed to live in the beautiful state of Kentucky with my wonderful husband, our energetic son, one crazy cat, and two rambunctious dogs, so there is never a dull moment. During my spare time (if that actually exists in teachers' lives), I enjoy gardening, canning, cooking and family time. God is great! **********************************************************************************
