With 25 years in public education, I understand the increasing demands placed on educators. My resources include cutting-edge, research-driven ideas that require minimal prep and will stand the test of time. In the last 15 years, I’ve presented in over 35 states and two other countries. I’m currently a 2nd grade teacher in Nixa, MO, and I love my job!
I integrate differentiated instruction, brain-based learning, inquiry-based learning, Math with Meaning, and Four-Blocks (Guided Reading, Writer's Workshop, Self-Selected Reading, Working with Words) into my lessons.
I'd love for you to join my on-line college course, Differentiating K-12 Assessments. You can earn one credit hour. http://www.ed2go.com/sde/online_course/4da/detail/Differentiating_K_12_Assessments.html
I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Missouri State University with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Texas-Wesleyan University, and a second Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University.
My family includes my husband of 25+ years, two sons, two daughter-in-laws, and a beautiful grandson!
