Chick on the Run

I started my professional journey in 2006 and in that time I've taught PreK, 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade, and technology applications. I'm currently the Primary Prevention Coordinator for a non-profit and in schools facilitating discussions on bullying, internet safety, body safety, and healthy relationships.

I work hard to make my classroom a fun and safe learning environment. My students know that should always "do their best" and that their best is different from everybody else in the class...and that's ok. Each year my goals for my students is (1) to foster a love for literature, (2) teach them to learn from their mistakes, and most importantly (3) learn to love learning!
