TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began teaching in 1997 and have taught high school level math since that time. I have taught Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and AP Statistics. My family and I also spent two years at Taejon Christian International School, where I taught in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. I currently teach Algebra 1 & Algebra 2 at North Junior High in Boise, Idaho, as well as the Secondary Math Methods course for pre-service teachers at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I combine group work and discovery learning with direct instruction, activities, and modeled examples to make math accessible and fun for my students.
