I have taught 1st grade, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades. My favorite subjects to teach are Religion and Math. I have been the Moderator for an elementary school Respect Life Club or over 10 years. I wrote the "Footprints for Life" Program which is currently being used in the elementary schools and high schools in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Visit ChoosetheChild.com for more information.
I honestly believe that children are a Gift from God. They make our world a beautiful place with their innocent smiles and special talents. I often think of children as little flowers...they are unique, they are beautiful, they each bloom in their own way and they just need some love to grow into the person God created them to be :) With an encouraging word, a gentle touch or, in some cases, just a smile, we can help children bloom in their own way every day.

My husband and I have 6 children - 5 girls and one boy. I founded Choose the Child in 2002 to educate and encourage children to create a "Culture of Life." I enjoy creating activities and lessons that provide a path for children to be a voice for those who can't speak for themselves.
