TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught children with severe autism, moderate intellectual disabilities, and severe intellectual disabilities from pre-k-8th grade. I am currently teaching in a special needs Pre-k setting!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I live by this quote in my classroom. “If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.”

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with my bachelors degree in special education grades P-12. I am certified to teach children with special needs using the general curriculum and adapted curriculum.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Outside of the classroom, my life is pretty amazing. I am married to my wonderful and very supportive husband, we have one fur baby named Barrett. He is a 2 year old American Bully that is way too spoiled and thinks that he rules the house. We welcomed our first baby in October of 2018, Isaac Mason! He is our answered prayed and spoiled by our family and friends! We live right outside of Athens, GA in a older, small town. Some of my loves are: Donuts, Coffee, GA Bulldogs Football, all things colorful for my classroom and all things farmhouse for my home! Shopping at Target, Hobby Lobby, and Amazon are my favorite things to do!
