TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a National Board Certified English teacher, am highly qualified to teach English, Social Science, and English Language Acquisition K-12, and have been teaching for 16 years at a suburban Denver high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in scaffolding every content piece and skill progression so that students can take logical steps toward learning the material for themselves and at an independent level. While this takes longer than just "assigning and assessing," the students actually retain the information and can apply it across the curriculum long after their tests (both locally given and, of course, state given!).
