I have over 15 years experience both in regular and special education settings. For as long as I can remember I've wanted to be a teacher. When I was in elementary school, I would organize my "classroom" on my bedroom floor with folders for each of my "students". One of whom I corralled was my sister. She didn't particularly love it, but obliged me from time to time. Our family hosted several student teachers in our home when I was younger, and that fueled my passion even more. I would spend countless hours cutting out letters for their bulletin board displays (so thankful we don't have to do that too much any more!), and loved to create themes that I would one day have in my own classroom. Today we have more modern resources, and I have enjoyed creating teacher resources for the last 6 years or so on TpT.
