I starting teaching in 1999 and taught various courses including; business tech, health, leadership, and broadcast news. I was a softball and volleyball coach, the Student Activities Director, and a 2004 class sponsor. I was a high school counselor for 5 years and in 2011, our counseling department was the first in Michigan to receive the RAMP award. I recently received certification for the Online Teaching and Learning graduate certificate program at Michigan State University.

I’m a Lead ASCA RAMP reviewer, one of roughly 30 in the world! As department chair, our school counseling department was the first in Michigan to receive the RAMP award! As a consultant, 2 Michigan middle schools received the RAMP award too! I am passionate about education and would like to help others succeed!
