TEACHING EXPERIENCE

TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AS A TEACHER! I HAVE TAUGHT KINDERGARTEN THROUGH COLLEGE! I HAVE A PH.D. IN LEARNING THEORY AND AN EMPHASIS ON EARLY INTERVENTION FOR AT RISTK READERS AND WRITERS. CURRENTLY TEACHING THIRD GRADE IN MALIBU, CA!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am rather open-ended, and mildly relaxed. I take the teaching I do day-by-day, as I find the children are ever evolving, changing as they learn and grow. I keep a relaxed atmosphere; when you are in my classroom, you feel welcomed! My classroom is very 'lived-in' and comfortable for all! I am lucky to have a great aide and much, much parent involvement too.
