I have been a tutor, instructional aide, homebound instructor, and ESY teacher. I have been a full-time elementary special education teacher for several years. I have experience with everything from pre-k through 6th grade, gen ed, autistic support, life skills support, emotional support, and learning support. My true passion is k-3 learning support! I have a large amount of experience in small group intervention instruction as well as co-teaching.
I am very organized, I enjoy using small-group instruction and differentiated instruction, and I like to provide students with structured choices. I love incorporating games, music, and movement into my lessons! My classroom management is based on positive reinforcement.

"We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box."
