This is a copperative learning lesson where the students work in groups of two to translate sentences in the past, then work together to figure out the 'rule' to these irregular verbs. Then in a larger group (based upon the color of thir paper),
I post these posters around the room and have the students do a Gallery Walk to get them up and moving. These posters serve a few purposes. Their main goal is to give the students exposure to seeing these verbs used in the preterite.
