TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching Elementary School Music since 2004. I love incorporating technology into the classroom. I have posted a few of the projects I have created that have helped me in my music room.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love getting instruments into the hands of the students. Instruments help students in so many ways. I have been enjoying teaching ukuleles this year. I usually have the students work with a partner. This seems to help the understanding of both students when one becomes the teacher and the other one the learner. I have also been implementing the "whole brain" teaching philosophy into my lessons and that has improved the behavior wonderfully.
