I am a 17 year veteran teacher, consultant/speaker, curriculum writer and inspirational child, teen and adult blogger. I teach across the spectrum in subjects and love creating lessons that make learning fun and engaging. I believe in hands-on learning and applying technology as much as possible. I'm all about STEAM!
An engaged and excited student is a happy and motivated learner. I'm very hands-on when teaching my students. All of my students matter to me.
I have published ten books... so far. I'm so passionate about how children feel about themselves I have been a guest on several national radio shows including: The Maggie Linton Show, The Sharky Zartman Show, The Children's Educational Network and the Ed Tyll Show.
I earned a degree in Art Commercial Photography and studied Elementary Education at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. I crave learning so I have and continue to take courses in technology in the classroom, creative writing, Twice Exceptional Children, Math Concepts, STEM/STEAM in the classroom, plus much more.
