TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 15 years of teaching experience in grades K-2.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is student-centered. I use a great deal of music and movement in my teaching, along with visuals and manipulatives.

Member of Phi Delta Kappa, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the International Reading Association, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and the National Council of Teachers of English.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland at College Park. I also hold a Master of Arts in Teaching degree with a Specialization in Reading from National University in La Jolla, California.
