She hosts three YouTube Channels, and three Podcast Channels and has hosted educational webinars over the past two years. She is a speaker and author of seven books.

Dr. Marianne has been an educator for twenty-five years, and a classroom teacher for ten. Step By Step Dyslexia Solutions is her second nonprofit. Her first was Alpha Learning Center in 2005 when she was a Supplemental Education Service (SES) provider for five low-income school districts in California. She was an adjunct professor at Azusa Pacific University while she was an Educational Therapist at a private Christian School. She returned to school to work for seven years on her Doctorate and chose to be a substitute teacher during that time. Then she accepted a full-time Resource teaching position at Para Los Ninos Charter Middle School in Los Angeles. After transferring to West Covina and teaching there for 2-1/2 years, she decided it was time to leave the public school system and be the Dyslexia Specialist. Her Doctorate is in Education Leadership and Administration. r. After teaching in several districts, she left the school system to have a greater reach and to help schools learn about teaching dyslexic students. She is currently a board member of the International Dyslexia Association Tri-County Branch, a member of the Pomona Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Christian Business Partners in Upland. She is the only educator using music with her reading program to effectively help dyslexic students improve in reading at a profound rate. She is passionate to share this information with schools in order to close the achievement gap in reading and stop the school to prison pipeline.
