I've taught English for nearly 10 years. I've taught EFL in Poland and South Korea, ESL in the US and UK, and I've taught EAP at a university in China. Most recently I've been working with adult learners (refugees and immigrants) in the United States at adult education centers, at local businesses, and in community colleges.
I believe in goal-driven lesson planning where all of my activities work toward an end result. I also love using technology in the classroom and enjoy putting together task-based lessons that incorporate different software or programs. I'm also a big proponent of focused fun. I often put together simulation activities and games that utilize language and make students think critically.
