TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I received my social work degree in 2006 and my Pennsylvania teaching certifcate in 2012. I have a myraid of experience working with students in both areas and currently teach in Zambia at a school for vulnerable and orphan children. I teach Reading to the primary students, as well as work with students who are behind their academic grade level. Many of my products are versions of ones I have created and use to better meet my students' needs. The sales of my products help me to provide better resources for my students in Zambia.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I learn best through a variety of engaging activities and I have no doubt that children are the same. Therefore, I try to incorporate multiple teaching strategies to meet the different learning styles of my students. I also strive to incorporate students' interests and hobbies in my lessons, in order to better engage them. I firmly believe all children are capable of success, it's just a matter of tapping into their strengths and interests, and I hope to encourage all my students to enjoy and value learning.
