TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started teaching private violin and piano lessons in high school, and continued doing that while working on a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I taught first grade as an intern my first year of teaching. I taught first grade for the two following years, before making the switch to half-day kindergarten when we moved for my husband's job.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love reading good books, writing, baking, photography, and I especially love doing things outdoors! I grew up in a family of ranchers so I love to ride horses and work with cows. My husband and I are avid rock climbers and spend many of our weekends camping, hiking and climbing. I play the piano and violin and taught private lessons while attending high school and going to college. Teaching is also one of my favorite things to do and I love spending time with my students!
