TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have an extensive background in communications. I majored in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Texas and I have spent the majority of my life working towards enhancing better communications in both young children and adults alike. I bring my own flair to teaching and I love to make powerful connections with students that betters their communicative power!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a lot of humor and positive student to student interaction for them to understand the value of communications. I usually remains hands-off as far as letting my curriculum led the discussion that I then float back towards a more focused direction if there is too much chaos in the process. Teaching communication can be fun and rewarding!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have taught two years in public education in Plano, Tx. I was an instructor of professional communications and speech and debate. I have had the experience throughout college of teaching Shakespeare and other theatrical works to beginning freshmen while I was pursuing my Minor in Theater. I have a lot of knowledge of theatrical works for that matter and I'm very happy to make all levels of communication fun and interesting, just like to those whom perform.
