I have obtained my Bachelors from the University of Connecticut and Masters from the University of Massachusetts.
Fun Fact #1: I worked for some time on the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill NOAA NRDA Project in New Orleans, LA. The experience taught me first-hand the importance of collaboration to achieve a similar goal. In this case, it was our work with Federal, state, and local government agencies and BP to restore the Gulf of Mexico. Fun Fact #2: I worked on fishing boats for 4 years collecting scientific data on fishes and other marine life (including dolphins and sharks!). What an amazing experience! Nothing beats seeing dolphins and sharks in the wild.
