TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a classroom teacher for 10 years in third, fourth, and fifth grades teaching all subjects. I am currently a 5th grade ELA teacher.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a hands-on, get up and move, think deeply kind of teacher. I love having my students work collaboratively, but I also value the importance of independent thinking. I'm always up for tackling a new challenge and try to inspire my students to do the same. I believe mistakes are proof of learning (that includes the teacher's mistakes) and always try to infuse fun, laughter, and creativity into every lesson I teach.
