I have been teaching for thirteen years, eight in general education and five in special education. I have taught every grade level in elementary except for kindergarten!
I love to tie as many lessons as possible to great books! I strive to make my lessons fun and motivating for my students. I am constantly looking for ways to differentiate my lessons and meet my students where they are. It is also fun to create a learning environment for my students that they look forward to coming to each day.
I graduated from my master's program with a 4.0!
I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University. I am certified to teach general education and special education in grades K-8th. I also have my gifted and reading endorsements.
I am mamma to two sweet boys and married to a great guy. We are blessed to have my parents and Grandma living right next door to us. My Mom is my best friend and has always helped me set my room up each year. She has always been my biggest cheerleader. Now that she has retired, we have decided to work collaboratively to create beautiful classroom decorations. I love the extra time that we have been able to spend together and the idea that we have created products together. I hope that you enjoy what we have made as well!
