Arguably, The Great Gatsby has two possible climactic points: the tea party of Chapter Five and the group trip to NYC in Chapter Seven. This quiz corresponds with the former and asks the student to dig into the meaning of the text as it pertains to

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been "teaching" for seven (7) years at the high school level!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Obviously, I am a rebel!!! I did not start out this way; I literally have no idea what I am doing and I work hard to give my students discipline, routine, honesty, self awareness, laughter, skills, and - most of all - LOVE alongside some really great literature. Also, I make the not-so-really-great literature bearable (mostly for myself). Teaching is not for the faint of heart...Sometimes it take a savage!
