I Have served as an ELA Instructional System Specialist, Professional Learning Instructional Specialist, Math and ELA Instructional Coach, RTI district Coordinator, Administrator, and 6-12 Grades teacher of ELA/Literature, math and Social Studies. I have worked in rural, urban, magnet, state and federal schools, as well as in the U.S. and Germany with a variety of students.

I am an unconventional teacher who loves to bring innovation and creativity into the classroom by using every medium from technology to clay to get students engaged. I constantly seeks new ways that work to help the students master content and skills. I enjoy creating engaging and exciting lessons and finding unique approaches to teaching and learning. I plan to teach with the purpose of inspiring students to find their passion and to appreciate the value of knowledge they don’t think they need. I entertain to stimulate their learning by using the arts and hands on activities. My style is rooted in creating a classroom learning community where all ideas and thoughts are welcomed by all members - me, students and their curriculum.
